Photo Shooting Tour of Naxos Villages

Take a photography course while discovering the most unique and amazing places of the island of Naxos.

Your guide will be Panagiotis, an experienced photographer for over 40 years, ready to share his knowledge with you, but also to introduce you to create ways from light and shadow.

The villages and all the natural beauties of Naxos are small jewels that will make you feel the Greek hospitality, traditions and culture all at once.

Itinerary

Photo shooting classes on the non-touristy side of Naxos.
Departure from Protodikiou square Chora Naxos, store "Photorama", at 9:00 am.

First stop: the fascinating Nativity Grotto and the remains of the early Byzantine monastery of Kaloritsa. Kaloritsa is a natural cave about 30 meters long and 10 meters wide, which was probably converted into a church in the 4th century because, according to the story, a shepherd found in it an icon of the Nativity. A truly amazing place that you should capture with your camera.

Next stop: a stunning underground cave that is actually a chapel, Panagia Spiliotissa. Let our lenses capture this spiritual feeling

Last stop: the oldest olive tree in the world! Can you believe it? It's right here on Naxos and it's still alive. Take time for a picnic, chat, laugh and take many, many photos.
