Shared Naxos Town Food Tour

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 

Walk through the historical back streets and small alleyways of Naxos town and discover the food secrets of our island. You'll be with a small group and a fully certified English-speaking guide. The smells, sights, and tastes of Naxos will come to life.

You'll meet at the Sphinx Statue in front of the town hall before heading slowly at 5 o´clock to the Venetian castle with its bijoux alleyways and you'll wind your way gently to the first stop where you'll be able to sample a variety of local Naxian cheeses - of course, served with a refreshing glass of local wine. 

You'll savor the authentic taste of bread baked in one of the oldest bakeries on the island where bread is still baked in a wood-fired oven and 'blessed' with a sprinkling of Naxian olive oil.  You'll sample a variety of different Naxian pies and a locally made spirit - 'tsipouro' - not for the faint-hearted.

Your certified guide will make the island come to life with stories and histories of the island and its famous cuisine. You'll toast the effervescent flavors and scents and eternal beauty of our fascinating, historical, majestic, and ever-evolving island.
