Mykonos - Day Trip Tinos Island

Tuesday & Friday (Multilingual)

The meeting point is at 12:15 pm at the new port of Mykonos (Tourlos), where you will meet our correspondent and receive a short briefing. You will reach the island of Tinos after a short 30-minute ferry ride. At the port of Tinos you will be met by your guide and your bus.

Tinos houses the most important church in Greece, the impressive "Evangellistria", built for the miraculous icon "Megalochari". It is the pilgrimage destination for Greeks from all over the world.
Moreover, Tinos was inhabited by the Venetians for about 500 years, which is why there are still many beautiful pigeon houses from that period and many Catholic villages.
The island has many beautifully preserved traditional villages and many houses decorated with marble sculptures made by local marble artists on Tinian.
Tinos is famous for its white and gray marble, quarried from marble quarries in the north of the island, which can also be found in Buckingham Palace in London and the Louvre in Paris.
