Scuba Diving for Beginners

Start your adventure:

Non-experienced "divers" have the opportunity to take an introductory scuba diving lesson under the guidance of our experienced instructors. We will take you from the beach in shallow water to a rocky reef where friendly fish and marine life await you for your first dive. An additional open water dive around the caldera and volcano is offered if you wish to explore the underwater world further.

The entire Discover Scuba Diving experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

Procedure:

First you will have a lesson with a qualified instructor covering some physics, physiology and underwater communication.
Then you will learn how to operate the scuba equipment.
Then we will get dressed and go from the beach in front of the diving station directly into the sea.
In water shallow enough to stand up, we'll have you do some simple exercises, and then you'll breathe underwater for the first time (if you haven't done it before).
Then we'll get you in the water, too deep to stand up. If everything is ok, you will swim underwater to the reef to a maximum depth of 6 -7 meters.
After returning from the reef, we get out, remove the equipment and dry.
We consider this a very safe activity. Diving is easy and not very physically demanding. Diving is "mind over matter" in most cases.
